What an incredible day! Great weather and a new lens to shoot with. I was fortunate enough to find a working sailing ship docked along River Street. For a free tour (donations welcome, and they sell pottery made there on the ship), it was awesome. I think I got some great pics of the ship. The rest of the time, I wandered around town and snapped whatever caught my eye. My favorite one is of the sign for a locksmith. Apparently, they also sharpen anything but your wits and can fix anything but a broken heart. I think the shot of city hall taken as the sun was going down came out rather well. I really want to try some more early evening and night shots.
I woke up one day and realized that there is so much to see in this world, so many pictures yet to be taken.

Savannah: The Photos Part IV
Todays visit to Savannah was a bit unexpected. It was raining by the time I got there. But, there was a short break in the weather, and I was able to get around and take some more pictures. The one thing I've come to notice about Savannah is that there is an ability to blend the old parts of the city with modern upgrades.

Savannah: The Photos Part III
Okay, there are some areas that I have shot before that I did in B&W, so today I went back to some of them and did them in color. My intent (and I think it worked) was to saturate the colors to make things stand out more. I also shot a majority of them using my flash. All in all, I feel they are a good group of shots.
